What are microgreens?

Microgreens are young, edible plants harvested just after the first leaves develop. They’re smaller than baby greens but packed with flavor, color, and nutrients. Common varieties include broccoli, radish, sunflower, pea shoots, and more. A portion of microgreens is loaded with 3 times more nutrients than their larger counterparts.

Microgreens taste like their larger counterparts. For example, broccoli microgreens taste like a head of broccoli with the stalk; radish tastes peppery, sorrel tastes lemony just like its herb counterpart.
